Ardmore Telephone Company is happy to announce that some fiber build projects are ready for installations. Our goal is to connect you to reliable, fiber-fast internet, so you can live, work and play at the highest quality.
New Market-Sulphur Springs project — This project is ready for installations. The areas include portions of Walker Lane, Cindy Drive, C. Tipton Drive, Charley Patterson Road, Rosebud Drive, Tom Taylor Circle, Cee Jay Lane and Ember Lane.
New Market-Ollie Howard project — Addresses for this build are ready for installations. This includes Buddy Williamson Road, Ollie Howard Road, Old Limestone Road, Ward Drive, Shady Trail and J. B. Walker Road.
Ardmore OLT project — The construction of the south portion of this build is nearly complete, and ATC hopes to have addresses ready for installations this summer. The construction of the north portion of this project is still underway. This project includes the areas surrounding Ardmore.
Ardmore-Minor Hill OLT project — Construction on the downtown portion of this build is nearing completion. ATC hopes to release some addresses this summer. The remaining areas that surround Minor Hill need to be constructed.
Ardmore-Elkmont OLT project — Crews have started working to extend existing routes that feed out of the Elkmont area. This includes portions of Petusville Road, McCathy Hollow Lane, Shipley Hollow Road and Upper Fort Hampton Road.

August 2021
New Market-Flint River project — Construction for this project is 70% complete. Crews are focusing on completing the rest of the construction and then will begin splicing. Some portions of this project are ready for installation. We are estimating that, in the next four to six weeks, this project will be 100% complete. This project includes portions of Beth Road, Arnold Road, Flint River Drive, Newburn Street, Koster Street, Petty Street, Humphrey Drive, Nance Drive, Noles Drive, Montana Trail, Cramer Road, Missoula Road. Billings Drive, Prospect Road, Link Road, Harlow Drive, Lark Road and Butler Road.
New Market-Plevna OLT project — Crews are focusing on getting all the fiber spliced and tested for this project. We estimate some addresses will be ready for installation in August. This area includes areas along Winchester Road to the state line.
New Market-School House project — Construction is 100% complete and crews are splicing and testing. We’re hopeful that some addresses will be ready for installations in the next couple of weeks. This area includes School House Road and portions of J.B. Walker Road.
New Market-Ollie Howard project — Construction is nearly 100% complete for this project. We estimate some addresses will be ready for installation in the next couple weeks, and possibly, releasing all addresses for installation in the next four to six weeks. This area includes Buddy Williamson Road, Ollie Howard Road, Old Limestone Road, Ward Drive, Shady Trial and J.B. Walker Road.
Elkmont OLT project — This build is 100% complete, and all addresses are ready for installations. This project includes downtown Elkmont and the surrounding areas and Rural Village Subdivision.
Elkmont-Whitty Mill project — This project is 100% complete, and all addresses are ready for installations. The project includes the subdivision near Whitty Mill Road and Elkmont Road.
Ardmore OLT project — Construction has started for this build. Since this is a much larger project, we are not able to estimate a completion date at this time. There will be several areas released for installations at different times once complete. This project includes the areas surrounding the town/city of Ardmore.
Ardmore-Moorsville project — Crews have completed construction on this project, and splicing and testing have started. An estimated completion date is not available at this time.
Ardmore-McBurg Exchange project — Contractors are pulling aerial cable in multiple locations for this project. An estimated completion date is not available at this time.
Ardmore-Dekko, Holland Gin, North Gatlin projects — Construction is underway for this project. An estimated completion date is not available at this time.
ATC Continues Making Progress on Fiber Builds

Ardmore Telephone Company hit the ground running during the first quarter of 2021. Crews have made significant progress on some fiber builds throughout the ATC service territory and will continue throughout the rest of the year.
New Market-Union Grove project — This project is complete and ready for installation for portions of New Market Road, Meadow Green Subdivision, Walker Lane, Butler Road, Henry Taylor Road and Widow Hornbuckle Road.
New Market-Flint River project — The construction for the northern part of Arnold Road and Flint River Drive are complete and currently undergoing testing. Once testing is finished, addresses along these roads will be ready for installation. Most of the remaining addresses for this project are complete and undergoing splicing, then testing. This project includes parts of Beth Road, Arnold Road, Flint River Drive, Newburn Street, Koster Street, Petty Street, Humphrey Drive, Nance Drive, Noles Drive, Montana Trail, Cramer Road, Missoula Road, Billings Drive Prospect Road, Link Road, Harlow Drive, Lark Road and Butler Road.

New Market-Hillsboro project — Crews have completed construction and splicing for this build. Addresses will be ready for installation this month. Areas included in this build are portions of Winchester Road, Section House Road, Hillsboro Circle, Sam Henley Lane, Yancy Lamb Drive and Hillsboro Drive.
New Market-Plevna OLT project — Crews have started construction on this build, but it is too early to estimate when addresses will be ready for installation. This area includes addresses along Winchester Road to State Line Road.
Elkmont OLT project — Construction crews are wrapping up splicing for this project, and it should be ready for installation by late April or early May. This build includes downtown Elkmont and surrounding areas, as well as the Rural Village Subdivision.
Elkmont-Whitty Mill project — Crews will begin placing fiber for this project soon, and we expect it to be 100% complete by late April or early May. The area includes the subdivision near Whitty Mill Road and Elkmont Road.
McBurg project — Contractors are pulling aerial cable in multiple locations for this project. A timeline for installation is not yet available.

December 28, 2020

Some downtown Elkmont addresses are ready for customer installations. In the Rural Village area, construction is complete. Crews hope to begin testing in the coming weeks, with hopes to have some addresses ready for customer installations in January.
Elkmont-Whitty Mill project — This project includes the subdivision near Whitty Mill Road and Elkmont Road. A timeline for customer installations is not available at this time.
McBurg Exchange project — Contractors are pulling aerial cable for this project.
Minor Hill project — ATC has completed this project and eligible addresses are ready for customer installations. Some of the roads included in this build are Salem, Shoal Creek, Schola Bluff, Jackson Clinic, Liberty Hill, Robinson, Junus Jackson Hollow and Earl Townsend.
Fiber-fast Internet Ready for Installation in Parts of New Market

Ardmore Telephone Company continues expanding fiber broadband service to areas in New Market, Elkmont and McBurg. Fiber is complete and ready for installation in some areas of New Market, while in other areas crews continue construction.

Summer proves hot time for fiber projects!
Ardmore-Ray Road project — This project is part of the New Market area, including portions of Ray, Keiffer Circle, Hearthstone and Borelli roads. It is complete and ready for installations.
Ardmore-Hurricane project — This area in New Market includes portions of Hurricane, Sharpes Hollow and Ray roads. Fiber construction and splicing is about 75% complete. Installations could be ready for this project as early as June.
Ardmore-Mint Springs project — This part of the New Market project covers portions of New Market Road, Standing Oaks Subdivision and Mint Springs Road. Fiber construction is just now starting.
Ardmore-Union Grove project — This project includes portions of New Market Road, Meadow Green Subdivision, Walker Lane, Butler Road, Henry Taylor Road and Widow Hornbuckle Road. Fiber construction is about 50% complete.
Ardmore-Deer Trace project — This project includes portions of Deertrace Parkway and Upper Hurricane Road. Fiber construction is underway.
Ardmore-Elkmont Whitty Mill project — This project includes the subdivision near Whitty Mill and Elkmont roads. Fiber construction has started.
Ardmore-Elkmont OLT project — This area includes downtown Elkmont and surrounding areas, as well as the Rural Village Subdivision. Construction recently began.
New Market & Elkmont Fiber Projects Move Forward
March 13, 2020
Ardmore Telephone Company crews have been hard at work in the New Market and Elkmont fiber project areas.
Hurricane Road and Ray Road — Approximately, 50-60 locations along Hurricane Road (between Frank Hereford Road and Ray Road) are available for installations. Crews are still working on Ray Road, Hearthstone Road, Borelli Road, Keiffer Circle, and part of Sharps Hollow Road (to Ray Road).
Deer Trace — This area consists of Deertrace Parkway and the north section of Upper Hurricane Creek Road. The majority of the boring is complete. Crews are expected to start plowing/pulling cable and placing handholes and peds soon. Splicing/testing will follow and then installations.
Mint Springs — This area consists of Mint Springs Road from New Market Road to near Mint Road. It also includes New Market Road from Beth Road to 501 New Market Road. Crews have just recently started boring on this project.
Elkmont CO — This is a rather large project and covers most of the downtown vicinity of Elkmont. Crews have been putting aerial cable up along Upper Fort Hampton Road and should be placing peds/handholes soon. They have also been boring around the Elkmont High School area along High School Road, Highland Avenue, Cotton Spring Street, and Vaughn Street. Crews are expected to start building the west side of downtown Elkmont soon.
Progress Update
July 14, 2019
Ardmore Telephone Company is working to provide fiber broadband to as many homes and businesses as possible. There are crews placing fiber throughout parts of New Market, with plans to have those completed in the fall. ATC will begin on other areas of New Market late summer, which will be completed in 2020.
